After watching azuritereaction on YouTube play The Hand That Feeds one-handed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lD_6vvslyMo), I decided to sit down in front of my own set-up, tuck my left arm into my T-shirt, and attempt to do the same. I think I have some cool techniques/ideas I could share if we had a Wiki article for it.
Now, I know it sounds weird to have an article for something like this, but it could potentially be a big help for disabled players. _________________

If you're looking to help disabled people and not offend them I'd suggest changing this to One handed drumming, because calling it Rick Allen style drumming might be a bit disrespectful. _________________

Trying to pass songs with one hand should not be that difficult because bass drum notes are worth twice as much when it come to pass/fail. It would only make a huge difference if you were trying to FC a song, or were playing something like RttH or Everlong. _________________

there are a lot of disabled people nowadays who do not see their disability as an impediment in doing something and they really want to be able to live a normal life. a video might be helpful to inspire them to be able to continue doing what they want to do becasue it only takes the heart to be able to succeed on it. be careful though as it might end up offensive too so be sensitive about their disability |
